Performer Conduct & Representation Terms – Cruise Engagements

By accepting and confirming a performance booking onboard any cruise engagement arranged by Manford’s Comedy Club (“the Company”), the performer (“the Performer”) agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions:

1. Professional Conduct
The Performer shall maintain a high standard of professional conduct at all times throughout the duration of the engagement, including outside of scheduled performance times.
The Performer acknowledges that they are acting as a representative of the Company and agrees to behave in a manner that upholds the reputation of both the Company and the cruise operator.

2. Alcohol & Intoxication
The Performer shall not consume alcohol to a level that may adversely affect their professionalism, punctuality, performance quality, or interactions.
The Performer must not attend any performance or duty whilst intoxicated.
Any inappropriate behaviour as a result of intoxication may result in removal from the engagement and impact future bookings.

3. Guest & Staff Interaction
The Performer shall treat all guests, ship personnel, staff, and fellow performers with courtesy and professionalism.
Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour will be treated as a serious breach.

4. Content & Performance Standards
All material must be appropriate to the agreed audience and venue.
Offensive, explicit, or discriminatory content likely to cause complaints must be avoided.
The Performer must follow any guidance provided by the Company or cruise operator.

5. Punctuality & Reliability
The Performer must attend all scheduled performances, rehearsals, and obligations punctually and fully prepared.
Failure to do so may be treated as a breach.

6. Reputation & Brand Representation
The Performer represents the Company at all times onboard.
Conduct, including social media, must not bring the Company or cruise operator into disrepute.

7. Breach of Terms
Failure to comply may result in removal from engagement, cancellation of future bookings, and potential financial recovery for losses where applicable.

8. Acceptance
Confirmation of a booking constitutes acceptance of these terms.
