Phil Jerrod

A comic whose instinctive mastery of his form immediately marks him out as one to watch.

The Guardian

The most original new comedian I’ve seen in ages.

Adam Bloom

Made me genuinely laugh out loud.

The Brighton Argus

Phil Jerrod began his stand-up career underneath an Angus Steakhouse in 2012. Since then he has failed his PhD, walked out of his job in publishing and been entertaining audiences up and down the country with his elegant rants on the often unfathomable problems of modern life.

His satirical take on the world and his observations of those who judge him on looks are a breath of fresh air.

Phil was awarded Best Debut at Leicester Comedy Festival 2015 and has had three successful Edinburgh shows Neanderthal (2015), Hypocrite (2016) and Submerged (2017).

He supported Romesh Ranganathan on his mammoth UK tour in 2016 and has been supporting Angela Barnes on her current tour since last year.

He also has a cult following for his hit podcast Crash Bang Wallop, of which The Guardian have said they ‘defy anybody not to be cheered up by.’
