Mickey Bartlett

Northern Ireland’s answer to Kevin Bridges, Micky Bartlett is loved for his TV appearances on 2 series of BBC NI’s Monumental and widely hailed as one of the funniest and fastest rising stars on the live stand-up circuit. Micky grew up in a town called Lurgan just outside of Belfast. He has only ever wanted to be a stand-up comedian, doing his first open spot in 2008 whilst in his final year at University, studying for a BA in Drama and theatre studies … One of the course modules examined comedians such as Billy Connolly, with the final assessment being a performance. This was all the push he needed to try stand-up as a career.
