A funny man

Irish eyes are certainly smiling from Micky Bartlett’s face. Don’t be fooled though, this is no cosy comedian…a boyishly roguish storyteller…cheeky, throwaway quips.

Northern Ireland’s answer to Kevin Bridges, Micky Bartlett is loved for his TV appearances on BBC NI’s Monumental and widely hailed as one of the funniest and fastest rising stars on the live stand-up circuit.
Micky grew up in a town called Lurgan just outside of Belfast. He has only ever wanted to be a stand-up comedian, doing his first open spot in 2008 whilst in his final year at University, studying for a BA in Drama and theatre studies … One of the course modules examined comedians such as Billy Connolly, with the final assessment being a performance. This was all the push he needed to try stand-up as a career.
Micky is a stand-up natural with a great command of the audience and once seen..never forgotten!
