Matt has been performing stand up comedy since 2003, and has appeared at venues all over the UK and across the world. His act is a mixture of high energy observational and topical jokes, combined with more personal stories and anecdotes. He is also a highly experienced compere and is excellent at audience interaction.
He has performed six successful solo shows at the Pleasance in Edinburgh: Grow Up Green (2008) Truth & Pleasure (2009) Bleeding Funny (2010) Too Much Information (2011) Alive (2013) and Writing to Harvey Keitel (2016)
In 2011 his show was nominated for Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival and in 2012 he was Fringe Review’s Stand Up Pick of the Brighton Fringe.
He is a resident MC for The 99 Club in London, and comperes and performs sets for many clubs across the UK and has done studio warm up for various TV shows for the BBC.
